Welcome to Showstoppers!

We're a community theatre group based at New Chapel Unitarian Church and Carmel Christian Centre in Denton. Taught by fully qualified first aid trained and DBS checked teachers with over 20 years experience.

-

At our group, we will help develop life skills, boost confidence, have fun and make friends. You will 'have a go' at singing, dancing, acting, mime, improvisation, role-play, and much more! We also facilitate the Tameside Arts Awards, helping to develop young people's creativity. We perform two shows per year at Hyde Festival Theatre and also participate in fundraising events, most recently helping raise funds for Hyde Festival Theatre.

-

"I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being."

- Oscar Wilde
